CET Chorhex 0.12% rinse is used to flush dental cavity after dental cleaning. Main purpose is to cleanse mouth and prevent infection.

- This product will no cure or treat any established disease. This product is to prevent or slow down bacterial accumulation.
How it Works:
Active ingredient, Chlorhexidine Gluconate, rinses teeth and cleans dental socket after dental procedure.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Apply liberally to all oral surfaces. This product may be used with oral irrigation devices for subgingival lavage.

Humans: The FDA restricts this product from being used by anyone other than a licensed veterinarian. Avoid eye contact. If eye contact occurs flush eyes for 15 minutes and seek medical attention. Do not ingest. If accidental ingestion occurs contact a poison control center immediately.

Flammable
As one of the constituents is alcohol, the product is flammable and needs to be stored away from heat and fire. Likewise, it should not be applied on painted or finished wood surfaces.
FIRST AID
If Swallowed: Contact a poison control center immediately as emergency care may be needed. Do not encourage personnel to vomit substance unless directed by poison control center representative. If the affected individual becomes unconscious, locate the nearest emergency medical center immediately.
Storage & Disposal
Storage: Store at room temperature. Keep away from heat and direct light source.
Disposal: Empty containers should be disposed of as directed and never re-used. Recycling or garbage disposal is viable as directed upon product label. Consult a medical waste agency for directions to depose of remaining drug and container. Contact 1-800-CLEANUP for additional information.
Brand vs. generic comparison: CET Chlorhex 0.12% Rinse is manufactured as the name brand but can be sold generically under the same name. The generic form can be used in dogs and cats. These products contain the same active ingredient but cost less and can contain more millilitres per container. Generic forms of this product however are not issued by veterinarian and storage regulations are variable. Name brand has a higher reliance rate and is veterinarian recommended.
