Allergroom shampoo doesn’t contain soap, making it ideal for pets with skin sensitivity or allergies. Besides keeping the coat clean and shiny, the solution also helps inhibit the growth of yeast and bacteria on the animal’s skin by forming a protective layer over it. Like with humans, pets can also develop allergies once their immune system starts to have a negative reaction to common substances in food or the environment. Symptoms commonly experienced by pets with the condition include; itchiness, eye discharge, teary eyes, chronic ear infections, loose stools, breathing difficulties, sore throat, excessively licking/chewing at feet or other parts of the body, and skin irritation/inflammation. Pyoderma, better known as a bacterial skin infection, is an extremely common condition in canines, although it can also occur in cats and horses. The condition causes symptoms such as; skin pustules (lumps filled with pus), alopecia (hair loss), itchiness, skin inflammation, scabs, and redness. Cryptococcosis, or a fungal infection caused by Cryptococcus, develops when yeast from rotting bird feces or food is inhaled. It’s most common in cats, but can also affect dogs and horses. The symptoms vary, as the yeast can travel to many organs including the eyes, lungs, and brain. Common symptoms of cryptococcosis include; fever, lethargy, decreased activity, coordination issues, tremors, poor sight, skin lesions, inflamed lymph nodes, vomiting, loose stools, decreased hunger, and mucus discharge. In some cases, the animal may only have mild symptoms such as lethargy and fever for several weeks before more obvious signs of infection begin to show, while for others, the onset of the disease is rapid.

How it Works
Allergroom’s formula includes Chitosanide, which is an ingredient used as a soap alternative, and that forms a protective covering over the skin and coat. Thanks to this technique, the risk of skin infections is minimized and there is more protection against potential allergens.
Directions for use
Use warm water to get the hair damp, apply product, and massage until foam is formed. Wash the coat and repeat the process once more, before doing it again and leaving the shampoo on the skin for up to 10 minutes. Rinse for the last time, ensuring that all the shampoo is washed off.
Dosage and administration: Allergroom can be used once a week, or as instructed by your vet.
Ingredients
Allergroom contains; 5% of Chitosanide urea, 1% of glycerin, water, lactic acid, TEA lauryl sulfate, lauramide DEA, imidazolidinyl urea, and an aroma substance. Sodium hydroxide and sodium chloride may also be included as ingredients.
