What the product cures
Dasuquin helps manage bone and joint conditions such as those caused by arthritis or physical injury. The product increases overall mobility, reduces pain/inflammation, and minimizes discomfort.
Pet Symptoms
Joint supplements are one of the options for promoting healthy bones and joints, as well as improving mobility in affected pets. Arthritis and other joint-related health issues are one of the most common conditions diagnosed in pets. The joints can be affected by several diseases including; arthritis, elbow dysplasia, osteoarthritis, and physical trauma. Genetic conditions in dogs such as hip dysplasia are also common and may develop when a dog is as young as 5 months. Additionally, wear and tear from old age contributes to the development of joint problems.
Pets with joint issues have had damage done to the cartilage and surrounding joint structures. This leads to pain, discomfort, and reduced mobility because the cartilage can no longer provide proper cushioning and it doesn’t allow full joint flexibility. Symptoms resulting from joint conditions in dogs and cats include; joint inflammation, difficulty walking, trouble getting up from a resting position, limping or abnormal gait, stiff joints, reduced activity, decreased appetite, unusual behavior (aggression upon touch, depression, etc.), chewing at affected area (due to pain), decreased muscle mass, and an unwillingness to carry out daily tasks such as going out for walks or playing a game of fetch.
While there is no cure for conditions affecting the joints, there are supplements, anti-inflammatory drugs, and different forms of physical therapy that can help manage the disease and provide your pet with a higher quality of life. Lifestyle changes such as regular exercise and a healthy diet also help promote healthy bone and joints.
